Message thread to automatically temporarily ban people. Much like the "Noobie" algorithm, this algorithm could take into account a user's:

% of VTD'd threads
% of mod deleted threads
how many of the user's last X posts have been deleted
total number of posts (in general, general vs. technical, etc.)
how many responses to this user have been deleted (implying user posts stuff which incites 'riots')
whether or not the user is a 'Noobie'
Number of posts using bad keywords (aka "Canada*")
etc, etc

You could then have different configurations of the parameters above for different states of tt.net. When D&G are pissed and don't wanna take it anymore, they could make the site really strict, and it's easier to automatically get temporarily banned. When things are going really well, they put the site in the more lax configuration, and things just cruise along.

You could even have a little alert graphic at the top of the screen to let people know what kind of alert level the site is at. The alerts could be taken from something like this:

Heh heh heh, I guess it sounds like a lot of work, but if the algorithm could run as smoothly as the Noobie algorithm does, that would be cool and might make the site a little easier to run.
